Printing Guidelines


Our modular files are built for flexibility and ease of printing. With the right setup, you can create durable and beautiful parts straight from your home 3D printer. Here’s everything you need to know to get the best results.

Recommended Printer Settings

  • layer height 0.2
  • Wall Perimeters: 3
  • Infill: 20% (use 25–30% for heavy-duty parts)
  • Supports: Not required unless otherwise stated
  • Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
  • Material: PLA+ or Matte PLA for strength and a premium finish

All STL files are pre oriented, so you can slice them directly without adjustments. We also design with a 0.25 mm tolerance for smooth assembly.

Recommended 3D printers

1. Bambu Lab P1P – Fast, quiet, and great for beginners who want professional results.

2. Creality Ender 3 V3 SE – A great entry-level printer with easy upgrades.

3. Prusa i3 MK4 – Known for high print quality and reliability.

4. Anycubic Kobra 2 – Budget-friendly and easy to calibrate.

5. Flashforge Adventurer 5M – Enclosed design, ideal for more consistent prints.

 


Recommended Materials

1. Matte PLA - Matte PLA is stronger and looks premium, perfect for storage components.

2. PLA+ - A stronger, slightly flexible variant of PLA, great for parts that need durability.

3. PETG - Use for components that need heat resistance or extra toughness.

4. eSun PLA+ – High-quality, reliable filament.

5. Polymaker PLA+ – Excellent finish and toughness.

6. Overture PLA or PETG – Great for bulk printing.

7. X3D Pro Matte PLA - (Sydney supplier).

Material Shrinkage


Plastic cools and shrinks, if this is an issue you are facing and it is affecting your prints try this.

  • Scale the Z-axis up by approximately 0.5% in your slicer.
  • Shrinkage varies by material brand, color, and temperature. We recommend doing a small test print first.
